In an effort to bring back the real old-time auction feel, we are holding a 72 lot Bonus Auction following the Live Webcast Auction. The 72 lots of mostly bulk or multiple item lots will be offered only to bidders in attendance at our auction location. These lots will be sold as is, where is, and must be taken on the same day. We will have team members ready to assist you in loading your vehicle, if needed. No absentee or online bidding of any sort will be offered on the Bonus Auction lots.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature: Watercolor scene on ivory of a young woman with a bared breast being lectured or instructed by a man wearing glasses while a cherub looks on, cherub is holding in one hand a vase of some sort with a baby inside, incredible fine detail down to the piece of paper with Latin words, gilt frame with lead and velvet backing, pendant measures 77mm x 71mm including bail, unsigned, with paper labels on back. From the collection of former US ambassadors to France and Belgium.
CONDITION: Portrait condition is excellent; pendant back has separated leaving the exposed ivory base, light paint loss on corners most notably at the top left and bottom right, light pitting to finish; good glass. Items in this portrait miniature collection are written up to the best of our knowledge. It is up to bidders to make final determination as to value.
